Problem
A private Google Group. Native plant gardeners sharing updates, photos, field notes. Years of posts, real community, zero web presence. The content existed. It just lived somewhere nobody outside the group could find it.
the system
Here’s the constraint: Google Groups has no API for reading messages. None. Most people stop there.
The workaround: subscribe a Gmail inbox to the group. Make watches that inbox. When a new message arrives, it parses the subject line as the post title, the body as the content, and any attachments as WordPress media. A new post goes live on the site without anyone touching it.
The community keeps doing exactly what they were already doing. They just email the group.
our solution
They sent an email to their group. It became a blog post. They didn't notice.

Years of archived posts, live on the web. New posts publishing automatically. A private community now has a public presence built entirely on the habits they already had.
